Dr. Greenwood completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy through the Army-Baylor DPT program and practiced as an active-duty Army Physical Therapy with a focus in orthopedics and sports medicine working with both athlete-soldiers and sports teams.  She became board certified in orthopedics in 2013.  After leaving the military, she worked in diverse settings to include pediatrics, occupational medicine, and geriatrics. She became a certified health coach in 2020 and believes in a holistic approach to rehabilitation.  Her ongoing research interests include pain science, improving quality of life in aging adults, knee osteoarthritis, and using unweighting to improve rehabilitation outcomes.  She continues to see patients in her own practice and transitioned into academia full time as an assistant professor in the BGSU accelerated, hybrid DPT program.
