Dr. Obregon has a broad range of clinical practice experience with the last 14 years of her practice specializing in post-operative orthopedic management. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedics. She transitioned to academia in 2015 as adjunct faculty teaching clinical reasoning and patient/client management. Her passion is treating long-distance runners and research interests include two-dimensional running analysis, running gait retraining, and prevention of RED-S. Dr. Obregon cares deeply about guiding the profession with concerns and interests of the LGBTQ+ community and advocating for an environment of visibility, respect, collaboration, inclusion, and equity. Her aim is to foster and create change for all LGBTQ+ patients/clients, students, and clinicians.
