Steps to become a Falcon
1. Apply.
You can apply through our BGSU application.
2. Evaluate your transfer credits.
Do you have previous college credit? BGSU evaluates credits from all accredited institutions and from the military. You may even get credit for your experiences outside of a formal classroom (we call that a prior learning assessment credit).
3. Request and submit your sponsorship letter.
After you’ve been accepted to BGSU, you need to request a sponsorship letter from Guild and submit it to BGSU. This ensures that your employer will be billed for eligible expenses.
NOTE: You will need to request and submit a new letter before every semester you attend BGSU.
To request a sponsorship letter, contact Guild. Letters are approved starting four weeks before the term starts at BGSU.
To submit your sponsorship letter, email the letter to BGSU. The submission deadline is a week before the start of the term. But it’s best to submit the letter as soon as you receive it from Guild.
