MetalX & Nature Fresh Farms
CRD partnered with the Village of Delta, Fulton County, and the Maumee Valley Planning Organization to assemble a successful application for $958,885 in Economic Development Administration (EDA) Public Works funds for construction of the proposed Village of Delta Raw Water Service project. The project immediately served two beneficiaries: Nature Fresh Farms, Inc. and MetalX, LLC, which are both located in the Village of Delta. Nature Fresh Farms utilizes the raw water supply for irrigation purposes to support the expansion of their greenhouse operations while MetalX uses the supply for dust control during the processes at their proposed new scrap metal recycling facility.
