Data and Analytics for Decision-Making

CRD, in partnership with Bowling Green Economic Development, analyzed housing demand in the City of Bowling Green. While the main focus of the analysis was to help inform developers, the results also showed important information for local elected officials and other area leaders. CRD staff analyzed data from numerous sources and completed a survey of realtors in Bowling Green for the study. The results were compiled in an infographic report to make it a quick and easy-to-understand source of information.

CRD used economic and demographic information to provide insight on market and service offering opportunities to Shumaker, a law firm with an office in Toledo. Shumaker was established in Toledo almost 100 years ago and has grown to become an AmLaw Top 200 law firm with seven offices and almost 300 attorneys representing Fortune 500 clients and small to mid-size businesses in a range of business law needs across the country and around the world. Our engagement allowed Shumaker to identify growing business sectors where they had proven strength and allowed them to target existing clients and prospects using a variety of business intelligence tools. This targeted approach cascaded across the organization allowing Shumaker to allocate business development resources more efficiently and effectively.
