Assistant Teaching Professor of Philosophy, starting Fall 2023
The Department of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University invites applications for a one-year, nonrenewable Assistant Teaching Professor of Philosophy with a start date of August 2023. The primary responsibility of this position is to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy, including introduction to ethics, introduction to logic, and classes in the history of philosophy and the history of ethics for qualified candidates. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Philosophy (ABDs who apply must satisfy all the requirements for the Ph.D.); Experience teaching undergraduate courses as the instructor of record, and; evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
