Adjunct Position
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University seeks applicants for one or more part-time teaching assignments of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in mathematics and statistics for Academic Year 2026-2027.
Details
Successful applicants may teach quantitative reasoning, college algebra, precalculus, calculus, math education, introductory and/or foundational statistics, statistics, a first course of probability, and/or other courses depending on the applicant’s qualifications. Starting date is August 2026 or January 2027.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a master’s or doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or in a closely related field. Evidence of successful teaching in mathematics and statistics courses at the collegiate level is preferred, as is experience teaching in an Emporium format.

Complete application file must include: (1) a letter of application; (2) full curriculum vita; (3) two current (dated after August 30th, 2025), original letters of reference; (4) official transcripts indicating the highest degree earned. Finalists will also be required to authorize and pass a background check prior to an offer of employment.
