Careers in Teaching

In the state of Ohio, the most straightforward route to a teaching career at the secondary level is through a degree in Education. The National Association of Independent Schools, governed by a board of trustees and staffed by approximately 40 individuals, is a membership organization and the national voice of independent education. It represents nearly 1,200 U.S. independent schools, including day, boarding, and day/boarding schools; elementary and secondary schools; and boys', girls', and coeducational schools. NAIS offers a variety of products and services to member schools and associations.
