Mike Schulz is originally from Sparta, MI. Since joining the BGSU faculty in 2001, he has taught writing and critical thinking in a variety of contexts. As a Teaching Professor, he enjoys helping first-year writing students and creative writers develop the skills and confidence needed to improve their writing and discover their own voice. His writing can be found in Sycamore Review, DIAGRAM, Barrow Street, Masque & Spectacle, The Orchards Poetry Journal, and New Delta Review.
