Connor Hand
- Position: Co-Host
Connor is a third year History and Political Science double-major with a minor in French at BGSU. Connor's hometown is Oak Harbor, Ohio and his interests of camping, kayaking, and travel strongly reflect the "it's better outside" attitude of the small town. Academically, Connor focuses on the strong relationship between history and politics in the 19th century, and how lessons from the Gilded Age still have strong applications today.
Anna McRay
- Position: Co-host
Anna McRay is a third-year Political Science major with a minor in Peace and Conflict studies. Her time at BG has been devoted to understanding how our participatory democracy works through civic engagement. Anna is a Co-Host of the Democracy Exchange, the Director of Civic Engagement and Service in BGSU’s Undergraduate Student Government, and works on campus as a research assistant and tour guide.
Brynn Drabek
- Position: Media Intern
Brynn Drabek is a fourth-year media production major at BGSU and an intern for the Democracy and Public Policy Research Network. She is a part of the production team for the network's podcast, "Democracy Exchange With the DePo." Drabek is also involved with BG Falcon Media, WBGU-PBS, and is a School of Media & Communications Ambassador.
Bryce Torres
- Position: Production Intern
Bryce Torres is a third-year Media Productions major from the small city of Marysville, Ohio, with a minor in communications. Bryce is working for the Democracy and Public Policy Network podcast as a production team member. On campus he is involved with Thompson Family Scholars, and the Letters of Love foundation. In his free time, Bryce enjoys reading, collecting CDs, and editing short videos with his friends.
Julia Amlin
- Position: Production Intern
Julia Amlin is a fourth-year student from Tiffin, Ohio, studying a major in Media Production and a minor in Music Industry Studies. She is a production intern for the Democracy and Public Policy Network’s “Democracy Exchange: with the DePo” podcast. Julia works as an advanced production assistant at WBGU-PBS. At BGSU, she is involved with BG Falcon Media, Music Industry Club, and University Dance Alliance.
Caleb Elkevizth
- Position: Production Intern
Caleb Elkevizth is a fourth-year student studying Media Production with minors in International Studies and Computer Science. He is part of the production team for the Democracy and Public Policy Network and will be working on our upcoming videos for America's 250th Anniversary. He works for WBGU-PBS and has been involved in BG24.
Jack Cullen
- Position: Production Intern
Jack Cullen is a second-year master's student in the school of Media and Communication from Castalia, Ohio. He is a production team member for the network's podcast "Democracy Exchange With DePo" as well as being apart of the (title for explainer videos). Jack has worked numerous jobs in the industry for BCSN, WBGU-PBS, and Akron Rubber Ducks. He also is involved with BG24 the student run news/sports media broadcasts run by students for students
Maeve Watercutter
- Position: Social Media Intern
Maeve Watercutter is a second-year double major in Political Science and Economics on the Pre-Law track. Her focus at the DePo is social media content and scripting for explainer videos. Maeve is a reporter and radio host for BG Falcon Media, the treasurer of the International Relations Organization, and a peer facilitator for the Honors College.
