Summer Conference Assistant (SCA) | This position is seen as the face of the University during the summer months. SCAs live in the residence halls and are the first contact to conference guest, and has the responsibility to provide strong customer service, while upholding the University’s standards and polices. The SCA works hourly shifts completing front desk duties, as well as camp inspections and check-ins/check-outs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in classes for the upcoming academic fall term.
  • 2.5 GPA
  • Good Standing with the university
  • Strong customer service, communication, and campus involvement
  • Candidates offered the position will need to pass the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) background check

SCA Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of customer service and ethical decision making
  • Assist with the transition from academic year operations to summer operations
  • Assist in residence hall tours
  • Assist with day-to-day conference operations (working at the front desk, administrative duties, etc.)
  • Serve on call to support camps and conferences
  • Attend mandatory training
  • Prepare for camp and conference move-ins and move-outs
  • Adhere to and Enforce policy
  • Other duties as assigned
