Winter Break

BGSU’s Winter Break starts the week of December 22nd and ends on January 5, 2026. Committee/Staff will not be reviewing or responding to non-emergency emails during the Winter Break. We will resume normal schedule on January 5, 2026.

The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is the administrative and decision-making body having responsibility for review and approval of research involving recombinant DNA. Before any research involving recombinant DNA can be initiated it must have received IBC review and approval. The activities of the IBC are administered by Research Integrity.
