Update your contact information

If your number is incorrect or missing from your BGSU profile, you will NOT receive messages from the University's emergency notification system, AlertBG. To ensure you receive real-time and reliable updates during a credible threat to campus safety, please update your profile information as soon as possible. 

1. Log in to the system using your MyBGSU email and password.
2. Add your personal phone number in the "Text Messages - Primary Cell Phone" section.
3. Select "Update" to save your number.

If you would like to add an alternate contact, you can add their information in the same place. This additional contact will only receive AlertBG messaging.
