BGSU’s Bachelor of Science in nursing degree prepares students for jobs as registered nurses. The program allows nurses to enter one of many care-centered specializations and find rewarding, flexible, and enjoyable work. Join us at the BGSU Nurse Camp, where you will get a glimpse into the life of a nurse. Be a nurse for the day with real-life scenarios and evaluate your nursing skills while working your way through a trauma escape room.

Who can attend?
Students who will be entering 9th through 12th grade and 2025 H.S. Graduates.
What is the camp format?
The BGSU Nursing Camp is a 3-Day NON-residential program. Students will be provided a lunch and a snack and will depart campus around 4:45 pm daily.
What does the cost cover?
The cost of $295 dollars (camperships possible) covers all labs, lectures and materials for the program.

BGSU Summer Camps has partnered with local businesses to offer reduced cost accomodations. Details related to the hotel block will be sent in acceptance e-mails.

Application Dates & Deadlines
- Early Decision Deadline: March 2, 2025
- First wave applicants will be notified by March 15 of acceptance
- Final Deadline to apply: April 25, 2025
- Final wave applicants will be notified by May 1, 2025
- WAITLIST APPLICANTS will be notified by May 15, 2025
Cancellation Policy
- All programs, or camps within a program, may be subject to minimum enrollment and may be canceled if enrollment minimum is not met. In the event of a cancelled program all fees and registration costs will be refunded.
- Campers may withdraw their application anytime.
- Deposits are non-refundable
Accepted Campers
To reserve your seat in camp a $65 non-refundable deposit is due within 10 days of receiving your camp acceptance. Participants who do not pay the deposit by the tenth day are removed and placed on the waitlist.

Forms
Forms will be collected via CampDocs. Information with a link to the site will be sent after your acceptance and when deposit has been paid.
Camp Cancellation Policy
Refunds for canceled registrations will be issued to the individual or organization that made the original payment, according to the following schedule:
- On or before May 1: A full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- 21 or more days before the start of camp: A 75% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- 14–20 days before the start of camp: A 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- Less than 14 days before the start of camp: No refund will be provided.
Additional Notes:
- No refunds will be given for "no-shows."
- Participants dismissed from camp for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.
