BGSU Online MBA ranked among Ohio’s best by Princeton Review
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – For the second year in a row, the Bowling Green State University Online MBA program has been ranked by The Princeton Review as one of the top programs in Ohio and the nation, further elevating its reputation as a premier program.
The BGSU Online MBA – consistently recognized for its commitment to academic excellence, student experience, employment outcomes and affordability – ranked No. 2 in Ohio among public universities and No. 40 overall in the education services company’s list of Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2025.
BGSU Online MBA graduates from the most recent cohort reported an average salary increase of 24% after earning their MBA. Additionally, 80% of graduates surveyed by BGSU received a promotion after completing their MBA, demonstrating the program’s success in helping students advance in their careers.
“This continued recognition from The Princeton Review – alongside other national rankings – reflects our deep commitment to supporting the success of working professionals,” said Dr. Jennifer Percival, dean of the Schmidthorst College of Business. “Our program is designed to be high-quality, flexible and affordable, meeting students where they are and helping them achieve their goals. We are honored to play a role in transforming their careers and lives through relevant, real-world curriculum that equips them to lead with confidence and drive meaningful change in their organizations and communities.”
Also a part of The Princeton Review’s rankings, the nationally recognized Schmidthorst College of Business was designated as a “Best Business School” in the Midwest, marking its 15th consecutive year of recognition.
In addition to being recognized as one of the best programs nationwide, the BGSU Online MBA was ranked earlier this year by Fortune magazine as the most affordable program of its kind in Ohio and among the top 20% nationwide.
Available through BGSU Online, the AACSB-accredited program offers specializations in accounting, finance, marketing and supply chain management. Students learn from the same world-class BGSU faculty who teach in-person classes at the University, ensuring a quality and supportive learning environment that prepares students for career advancement.
BGSU is one of only a few universities nationwide to earn the Quality Matters Online Learner Support Certification for all its online programs, reflecting the high level of support and comprehensive student and academic services BGSU Online provides.
The Princeton Review rankings for top online MBA programs were based on surveys of students and administrators that evaluated more than 60 data points, including academic offerings, faculty excellence, career services, technology and program satisfaction.
