Compliance Day free training sessions slated

The BGSU Office of Equity and Diversity will host the fourth annual Compliance Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 1 in 201 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

Free training sessions will be provided by BGSU Disability Services, along with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Veterans Programs, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division and The Ability Center.

Sessions will cover new regulations and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act, affirmative action, Title VII, services provided by the Ability Center, Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and hiring for veterans and individuals with disabilities.
