Artists accepted for MFA Thesis Exhibitions

BOWLING GREEN, O. — The Bowling Green State University School of Art will hold its second Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition from April 26-May 4.

The second installment’s opening reception, featuring student artists Jonahs Coel, Colleen Murphy, Sue Wu and Haining Yu, will run from 7-9 p.m. on April 25 in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard Wankelman Galleries.

Also on April 25, The Labino Society will host the talk “Stories in Glass” from 5-6 p.m. in 1101 Fine Arts. Three recent BGSU glass artists will describe their career paths and share tips for successfully navigating the transition from student life to professional artist.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. The galleries are closed on Mondays. Special times can be arranged for groups or classes by appointment.
