      • At the time of applying to BGSU’s dietetic internship, applicants will be required to provide evidence of their plan of study and GPA for graduate level courses completed. Evidence will be submitted in DICAS. See the required elements listed below.
        • Applicants must demonstrate satisfactory academic progress at the graduate level. Graduate transcripts must be included with the internship application. A minimum graduate level GPA of 3.5 or higher is required.
        • Applicants will be considered if they have or will have completed most of the graduate degree (example, 1-2 courses left) or if they will complete most of the graduate degree at the same time of completing the internship (example, 50% through the program).
        • Applicants must submit their graduate plan of study showing the breakdown of courses completed, remaining, and a timeline for completion of all graduate degree requirements. The timeline must include evidence that the graduate degree can be completed in timeframe of no more than 6-months from completion of BGSU's dietetic internship.

    • How can BGSU’s Program help you meet your career goals?
    • What are some experiences that have helped to prepare you for your career?
    • What are your short-term and long-term goals?

Distance Internship Extra Application Requirements

  • Preceptor Information Form
  • Site Information Form
  • Submit site information and preceptor information forms for an acute care clinical and community site.  You can upload through DICAS.

Potential preceptors can contact the Internship Director directly with any questions they may have. They, or a representative of their facility, will be required to sign an affiliation agreement with Bowling Green State University in order for you to complete rotations at the site but this is not required at the time of application.
