Thank you for your interest in a Residence Life staff position at Bowling Green State University! BGSU is home to nearly 20,000 students, including nearly 6,000 students who live on campus.

Graduate Hall Director

Graduate Residence Hall Director

Graduate Hall Directors (GHD) are a part of our live-in staff and assist in the daily operation of an undergraduate residence hall. GHDs assist in the supervision of student staff such as, Resident Advisors, Resident Advisor Desk Managers, and Desk Clerks; as well as the administration of hall-wide programming and crisis response.

GHDs must be accepted into a graduate college at the time of their contract start date. GHD Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For any questions regarding the Graduate Hall Director position, email reslifejobs@bgsu.edu.

Residence Hall Director

Residence Hall Director (HD) | The Hall Director is a full-time, 12-month, live-in administrative staff position. The HD is responsible for the daily operations of a residence hall housing between 300 to 1,000 students. This includes creating an inclusive, academically successful, safe and healthy residential community while providing intentional programming to assist with the psychosocial development needs of students, and infusing the learning outcomes of the University and Division of Student Engagement and Success. In addition, HDs must appropriately administer the operations of the residence hall and supervise respective graduate and/or undergraduate staff.
