In my year and a half of working at BG1 Card Services, I have gained an immense amount of work experience while still being able to balance my coursework. I typically work between 10-15 hours a week at BG1 during the fall and spring semesters, and it’s great because my work schedule is built around my class schedule and remains the same throughout the entire semester. I personally have gained not only clerical and customer service work experience, but I have also gained experience in designing promotional/informational materials as well as editing our website and managing our social media sites. Working at BG1 Card Services has also helped me learn valuable information about different departments on campus that I may not have learned otherwise. I feel that I have grown significantly as a person throughout my employment at BG1 and I know that this work experience will definitely benefit me as I move forward in my college career and post-graduation pursuits.
