BOOMERS TO MILLENNIALS:
GENERATIONAL DIVIDES ACROSS THE LIFE COURSE

Thursday, March 16, 2017
8:30 am - 2:30 pm
308 Bowen-Thompson Student Union

Agenda

Once the largest cohort in U.S. history, the Baby Boomers have redefined every stage of the life course, from childhood to older adulthood. Now, Millennials outnumber Boomers and are poised to shape their education, work, and family lives in new ways. The goal of the symposium is to identify both the commonalities and unique features of the life course experiences of Boomers and Millennials. The Center for Family and Demographic Research and the National Center for Family & Marriage Research at BGSU will host three leading scholars who will discuss their research findings as well as reflect on the implications of generational changes for families and relationships.
