April 2017
Seventeen undergraduate and graduate students representing biological sciences, computer science and forensics, presented their research at the 2017 Ohio Academy of Sciences meeting in April. This enthusiastic group of young researchers was the largest contingent from Ohio universities at this year’s meeting. Many departed BGSU in vans at 0430 in the morning to travel to the University of Cincinnati! This is a great culmination of their research pursuits at BGSU, as several of these undergraduate students will be going on to graduate research programs. Some will also be presenting their work at the Center for Undergraduate Research & Scholarship Symposium at BGSU on April 22. Next year’s OAS meeting will be hosted by BGSU!
