Test Optional

Here at BGSU, we understand that every student is going to approach their college journey in a different way. While we will gladly accept your ACT or SAT score for a picture of your academic profile, we understand that not all students have been able to take and/or want to submit an ACT or SAT score. Therefore, Bowling Green State University is offering Fall 2024 and Fall 2025 applicants the opportunity to have their applications reviewed without consideration of test scores. Below you will find frequently asked questions about what this process looks like as you consider BGSU in your college search.
Please call the Office of Admissions at 419-372-2478 to ask specific questions about your individual situation. Our team is ready to help you make the decision for your future.
