Academic Enrichment Camps

As we reflect on the journey of the Academic Enrichment Camp (AEC), we are grateful for all this program has become since its inception. AEC has served students and families in communities across Ohio and beyond. To the more than 2,000 families who entrusted us with their students—thank you. It has been a joy to get to know your children and to welcome many returning students year after year.

Our original funding which provided free camps for five years has ended; and after exploring other possible funding sources to keep the cost affordable, a difficult decision has been made, and we will not be able to offer AEC in Summer 2026. While it is disappointing to be unable to host these virtual academic camps this summer, it also gives us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and consider what the future of AEC may look like. In the meantime, we encourage you to consider other BGSU Summer 2026 camp offerings for your student(s) which can be found HERE.

We are deeply grateful to our families, participants, supporters, university leadership, and sponsors who have made these past five years possible. We are thankful to all who have been part of the AEC story so far.
