2016 Year in Review

a message from the president

Members of the Falcon Family,

As 2016 comes to an end, I want to wish you a happy holiday season. BGSU continues its commitment to excellence, and we are so proud of our countless accomplishments.

Throughout the year, BGSU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends changed lives. We witnessed the impact of groundbreaking research, dozens of wins for our athletic teams, students engaging in community service and leadership opportunities, and outstanding examples of how our alumni and friends made a difference in the world.

This great University is strategically positioned to meet the challenges and thrive for another 106 years. We continue to invest in state-of-the-art facilities, recruit world-class faculty and improve the BG experience for all students. From recruitment to graduation, the world needs Falcons.

Take a moment and review the year and all the successes that make this University so special. Thank you for all that you do for BGSU! I am looking forward to what we will accomplish in 2017.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a happy New Year!

Regards,

Mary Ellen Mazey, Ph.D.
President
