BGSU is a public university for the public good. Our faculty and students engage in groundbreaking research, scholarship and innovations that are improving the quality of life for communities throughout the region and beyond.

BGSU has over 19,000 students and more than 900 faculty across two campuses in Northwest Ohio. As an R2 Carnegie Research Institution, BGSU ranks in the top third of research universities nationally. Each year BGSU receives over $19 million in research funding and contributes more than $3 billion to the state economy.
