Have you thought about a career in healthcare but just don't know exactly what you want to do? In this camp, you will rotate through various healthcare fields that are not widely known. During these three days, students in grades 9 through 12 and 2026 graduating seniors will dive into different settings in which these professions work and get hands-on experience in what they do. Come discover what area of healthcare may be the right fit for you!

- Camp Times: 9 AM - 4 PM (arrive by 8:45*)

Why Attend?
- Students will have the opportunity to explore Medical Laboratory Science by performing simulated lab tests in aiding with diagnosing and managing illness.
- Dive into nutrition by cooking own lunch/snacks and learn about different career paths for dietitians.
- Gain insight into the area of Public Health with learning about environmental health, sanitation, and hygiene.
- Hear from faculty and professionals in the field of Social Work, Gerontology, Physical and Occupational Therapy
Eligibility
- Students entering 9th - 12th grade in fall of 2026 and 2026 graduating seniors who are interested in learning more about careers in the health fields.
Camp Cost
- The $250 cost of camp covers all take home supplies, lunch & snacks as well as instruction and lab fees.
- Financial assistance is available in the form of campership applications and through partnered grants.
Hotel block for campers and families
BGSU Summer Camps has partnered with local businesses to offer reduced cost accommodations. Details related to the hotel block will be sent in acceptance e-mails.

Cancellation Policy
- All programs, or camps within a program, may be subject to minimum enrollment and may be canceled if enrollment minimum is not met. In the event of a cancelled program all fees and registration costs will be refunded..
- Deposits are non-refundable
Deposit and Payment Information
To secure your spot in camp, a non-refundable deposit of $35 is required at the time of registration. Please note that camp enrollment is limited to 24 participants, and interest consistently exceeds available space each year.
To guarantee your place, we strongly recommend submitting your deposit as soon as you receive payment details in your registration confirmation email. You also have the option to pay the full camp fee at the time of registration. Final payment is due by May 1.

Payment Schedule

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds for canceled registrations will be issued to the individual or organization that made the original payment, according to the following schedule:
- On or before May 1: A full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- 21 or more days before the start of camp: A 75% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- 14–20 days before the start of camp: A 50% refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.
- Less than 14 days before the start of camp: No refund will be provided.
Additional Notes:
- No refunds will be given for "no-shows."
- Participants dismissed from camp for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.
