Academic Enrichment Camps

Camp Dates for all 3rd through 8th grades 

• Session 1:  June 15 - 26, 2026
• Session 2:  July 13 - 24, 2026 

Camp Sections 

• A camp section consists of one subject or pair of subjects per time slot.

Camp Format 

• Students will be engaged in interactive virtual learning on Zoom. 
  
• Daily subject lessons are 50 minutes long. 
• Students enrich their learning in mathematics, language arts, science, or social studies every weekday for two weeks.
• All ability levels welcome. Pre-service teachers are trained to work with students to help them achieve success in camp. 
• Access to internet and an electronic device such as a laptop or Chromebook is needed.

Camp Cost 

We’re truly grateful to our families and campers for their incredible support over the past five years! Your dedication has been the driving force behind the success of the BGSU Academic Enrichment Camp. The philanthropic funding that enabled us to offer two free camps per student has come to an end. While we continue to collaborate with partners and pursue new philanthropic opportunities, the AEC program will now include a small participation fee.

What’s NOT changing? The same high-quality programming, engaging experiences, hands-on materials, and exceptional learning opportunities you’ve come to expect. This fee adjustment simply helps offset costs for materials, shipping, and operational expenses.

To keep camps affordable, we’re offering a special bundle: 

• Two camps for $75 (a $75 discount) 
  
• Additional camps beyond the first two are $75 each

No payment is due at this time when you register. If new funding opportunities arise, we’ll notify campers about any reduced fees or fee waivers.

Camp Crates 

• All campers will receive a box of materials for their section prior to the beginning of camp. 
• Section materials are dependent on the camp subjects for which students are registered.
