BGSU Firelands to celebrate 60 years of educational and workforce impact with free community event on March 12

HURON, Ohio – Celebrating 60 years of supporting the region's educational and workforce needs, Bowling Green State University Firelands invites the community to attend "Believe in Firelands: 60 Years of Impact" for an evening of connection, conversation and reflection starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Cedar Point Center on the Huron campus.

Highlighting the continued, positive impact of the Bowling Green State University regional campus, the milestone event will feature guest speakers, a panel discussion and the unveiling of the BGSU Firelands annual report and Promise Scholarship program.
