Democracy and Public Policy Network releases findings, analysis of April poll
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Democracy and Public Policy Network in the Department of Political Science at Bowling Green State University has released the results of its fourth web-based poll, conducted from April 18-24, 2025, with insight from 800 registered Ohio voters.
Topics covered in the April poll include:
- Ohio governor and senate races
- Nationwide and statewide political sentiment
- President Trump's first 100 days in office, policies and proposals
The nonpartisan poll has a margin of error of +/- 4.08 percentage points and is weighted to 2020 and 2024 presidential vote choice, as well as a four-way stratification of gender, age, race and education.
April poll results include:
For the poll, YouGov, an international online research data and analytics technology group, gathered public opinion data through questions sent in online surveys, emails and text messages.
A four-person research team in the BGSU Department of Political Science developed, ordered, tested and analyzed the questions in the poll.
