BGSU celebrates graduating students with Senior Week events all week long

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - In celebration of the achievements and accomplishments of the Class of 2023, Bowling Green State University is saluting graduating students with Senior Week April 17-21 on the Bowling Green campus.

Some of the week's signature events include:

• Falcon Finale - Students can enjoy fun inflatables, games, carnival activities and free food on the Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.
  
  
• Turning on the Schmeltz Family Fountain - To help mark the start of spring, BGSU invites students to welcome warmer weather by turning on the Schmeltz Family Fountain at Alumni Gateway starting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. Located on the western edge of campus off Thurstin Avenue, the Schmeltz Family Fountain at Alumni Gateway provides a welcoming connection between the city and BGSU. Dedicated during the University's 100th Homecoming in Fall 2022, this year will mark its first full year in operation.
  
  
• Sunset Movie at The Doyt - Students are invited to meet at Doyt L. Perry Stadium starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 for a movie under the stars while enjoying free drinks and popcorn. Students are also invited to gather for sunset photos on the hill located near the Doyt prior to the movie.
