BGSU opens campus for annual Presidents Day Open House for high school seniors, families

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University invites high school seniors and their families to experience BGSU during the annual Presidents Day Open House from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20.

Students can begin to design their ultimate college experience by visiting campus to see the University in session and taking part in "choose your own adventure" events that offer a wide range of activities. Registration is required.

Nearly 1,400 students from more than 20 states are registered to attend this year's Presidents Day Open House, as of early February. Of the registrants, 1,100 are seniors in high school making their final college decisions and many others are starting their search process early as sophomores and juniors.

The Presidents Day Open House is one of the best days to visit campus and is the University's largest, most comprehensive event of the year, featuring guided campus tours with current BGSU students, academic department visits, presentations, lab experiences and self-guided residence hall tours. Participants can also receive discounts for lunch at BGSU dining halls and on BGSU apparel at Falcon Outfitters.

During the open house, seniors can complete their next steps toward enrollment, including housing applications and orientation reservations. Seniors who submit their housing payment or make their orientation registration at the event can pick up a free Class of 2027 flag.
