BGSU to hold 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University will hold its 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service Monday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the BGSU campus and in the City of Bowling Green.

Hosted by the C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, the day of service allows BGSU students, faculty and staff to create public good through community service activities while honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Check-in for volunteers begins at 10 a.m. in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom at the Bowen-Thompson Student Union. Volunteers will head to their service destinations at Noon.

Media members are invited to attend service events on the BGSU campus. In respect of student privacy, media members may not enter residence halls.

BGSU requires face coverings for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, in indoor public settings on its campuses. Unvaccinated individuals should wear face coverings whenever they are around others on campus, both indoors and outdoors.
