Tri-County Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Education Consortium
Over 90% of sexual assault incidents on college campuses don't get reported. The Tri-County Interpersonal Violence Prevention and Education Consortium is working to change that by providing:
- Sexual violence prevention education
- Safety resources
- Personal care to students
About the consortium
Bowling Green State University, Terra State Community College and BGSU Firelands are united to create safer, healthier learning environments for college students across northwest Ohio.
The consortium is building a sustainable, regional model that strengthens student safety, mental health and overall well‑being. We provide training, create awareness and forge strategic community partnerships to increase access to critical services and support for victims of sexual violence.
Preliminary initiatives include:
- Cross-training and skill-building programs for faculty, staff and students
- A centralized digital repository of prevention resources, expert contacts and referral pathways
- Shared data dashboards to track progress and outcomes
- A regional accountability system that promotes transparency and collaboration
