2021 MAC ALDP

Welcome to the MAC ALDP program!

“Collaborative Leadership During a Time of Crisis”

The members of the BGSU planning committee –  along with our colleagues Elise Radina (Miami University), Amoaba Gooden (Kent State University), and John Koolage (Eastern Michigan University) – welcome MAC ALDP fellows and liaisons to discuss “Collaborative Leadership During a Time of Crisis.”

This is an unprecedented time for higher education, and all of our MAC institutions face serious challenges. This workshop is a true collaboration, created with input from previous MAC ALDP fellows and liaisons (via a survey we sent over the summer), across cohort years, and across institutions. The session format itself will be collaborative and discussion-based. We believe it is more important than ever to work together to demonstrate the power of collaborative leadership that draws on the combined expertise of faculty and administrators. We welcome your ideas and look forward to working together.

Registration for MAC ALDP

In order to make the most of our brief time together on 10/30, we have a few short “homework” assignments we’d like you to complete in advance of the workshop.

  • Watch the homework video introducing our workshop theme and collaborative process (<10 minutes)
  • Review the feedback from the survey we sent out to former MAC ALDP fellows and liaisons about their current leadership challenges
  • Select your own top 5 key terms (your leadership principles and priorities) and be prepared to share those during the workshop (this is explained in the video).

If you are experiencing technical difficulties during the workshop, please text 419-494-1606 and someone will assist you soon.
