Mission

We are a department of computer science within the College of Arts and Sciences committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Our purpose is to offer comprehensive degree programs at the Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD levels, preparing a diverse student body for professional careers, advanced studies, and successful contributions to the rapidly evolving computing discipline and the community at large.

The Department of Computer Science strives to be a recognized leader in computing education and research, cultivating a rigorous and inclusive intellectual environment. We envision our graduates as innovative critical thinkers and lifelong learners who leverage their advanced computing knowledge and ethical skills to drive societal progress and address complex global challenges.
