How To Apply

1. Review admission requirements and gather your documents.

2. Submit your application and supporting documents.

  • The name on your passport should match the name on your application.
  • Cost to submit your BGSU application: $75. The application directs you how to make your payment. We are unable to offer fee waivers.
  • The BGSU application directs you how to submit the following documents to the Office of Admissions:
  • Official transcripts (required)
  • Proof of English language proficiency (required)
  • ACT/SAT scores (only necessary if you want to qualify for scholarships based on your grades or academic performance)
  • The BGSU application requires no essays or letters of recommendation.

For Fall 2025 admission

Deadline to submit application and all supporting documents: Friday, June 20, 2025

Deadline for issuing I-20: Monday, July 7, 2025

Students not meeting the deadlines may choose to apply for a future term.

For Spring 2026 admission

Deadline to submit application and all supporting documents: Friday, Nov. 8, 2025

Deadline for issuing I-20: Saturday, November 21, 2025

Students not meeting the deadlines may choose to apply for a future term.
