Coauthored an article with Patty Janes in 2021 titled “Becoming the Hospitality Industry Employer of Choice” in the Journal of Human Resources in Hospitality and Tourism, 21(4).
Earned her Certification in Hospitality Analytics (CHIA) certification awarded by the American Hotel and Lodging Association in 2020.
Earned her Cvent Event Management Certification awarded by Cvent in 2020.
Coauthored a book titled “Spa Management: An Introduction” (2^nd ed.), XanEdu Publishing: Ann Arbor, Michigan, with Lisa Capozio in 2021.

She and her co-authors report the recent acceptance of their article titled “Adoption of pre-employment testing in the hospitality industry in the United States and Australia” in the Journal of Human Resources in Hospitality and Tourism, 21(4).
Joined the Erie County Visitors & Convention Bureau Board of Directors in September 2021.
Published an article titled “Age isn’t but a number: Training a multi-generational tourism workforce” in 2020 the Van Hien University Journal of Science, 7(1), 3-15.
Published along with Dr. Seon Jeong Lee an article in 2019 titled “Impact of employees’ job control perceptions on their work-related responses in the hospitality industry” in the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, 31(7), 2720-2738.
Published with her colleagues an invited book chapter titled “Impact of Festivals” in 2020 in Festival and Event Tourism Impacts: Theoretical and Applied Perspectives (pp. 18-31). New York, NY: Routledge.
Served on a panel on the topic of Women in Leadership as part of North Coast Young Professionals Week.
Awarded $8,100 grant application for the International Association for Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Foundation to support student travel to the annual IAAPA Expo.
