What's happening in Kreischer
A note from your hall leadership
We’re so excited to welcome you to your new home on campus! As your Hall Leadership Team, we're here to support you, build community, and help make your college experience memorable. Whether this is your first year or you're returning for another, we hope this year brings growth, connection, and plenty of fun. Our team is made up of two Hall Directors (full time professional staff members with advanced degrees), two Graduate Hall Directors (part-time graduate level staff members), two Resident Advisor Desk Managers (undergraduate students that focus on our desk operations), and 42 Resident Advisors! You will have a chance to meet your RA (and the rest of the folks on your floor) during your Opening Floor Meeting!
This building is more than just a place to sleep — it's a place to meet new people, explore new ideas, and be part of a vibrant community. We look forward to getting to know you and are always here if you have questions, need support, or just want to chat. Let’s make it a great year together!
Sincerely,
Your Hall Leadership Team

- Congratulations on surviving midterms—you made it through! Now that we're wrapping up midsemester exams and projects, remember to kick back and relax when you can. Sometimes, it can be hard to switch back to a regular courseload, so don't forget to take care of yourself.
- With so many events coming up, we have plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy a well-deserved break both inside and outside the dorm. If you're not sure where to start, try taking a look at the Kreischer weekly events to see if something seems of interest to you! If you're not much of an event person, make sure to keep an eye out for new polls hanging around the lounges outside the Sundial posted by our Community Assistants (undergraduate students focused on building the community in Kreischer)! Whether it's your favorite candy, favorite monster, or even your favorite form of potato, our CAs always have a fun new topic for you and your friends to debate in your free time. Make sure to keep an eye out!
- With colder weather approaching and the skies darkening before lectures let out, sometimes it's harder to focus on the bright side. We as a hall staff want to ensure that you have what it takes to succeed, and that includes support. If you are ever struggling, remember to talk to your RA. Our RAs are dedicated to getting students the help they need to have a memorable experience here at BGSU, and they might have a piece of advice that they learned along their own academic journey.
We are all so proud of every single one of you for making it this far! Keep it up, and lets finish off the semester strong!
