The Office of Marketing and Communications took home gold, silver and bronze honors for its creative campaigns

Home to Division I athletics, beloved Freddie and Frieda Falcon, one of the largest marching bands in the country and consecutive years of record enrollment, Bowling Green State University has plenty to celebrate. Adding to that momentum, BGSU has added eight Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards to its collection, recognizing the efforts and content created by the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Incorporating the personalities of Freddie and Frieda Falcon, President Rodney K. Rogers, BGSU Head Football Coach Eddie George, Pudge the cat and more, BGSU took home eight Circle of Excellence Awards in the categories of marketing, communication and video. The haul is a record for the University and was the second most among Midwest universities in 2026.

A global association of 90,000 professionals, CASE includes top-level decision-makers in advancement, alumni relations, communication and marketing. The Circle of Excellence Awards are the premier recognition program for educational advancement and celebrate colleges, universities and schools whose teams demonstrate exceptional ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.

Bowling Green received two gold, four silver and two bronze awards for its work in online advertising, digital communications campaigns and fundraising, holiday and promotional videos.
