Bowling Green State University honored more than 950 students (and one cat) during Fall 2025 Commencement, recognizing their many accomplishments and encouraging them to continue doing good in their careers and lives.
Celebrations took place across two ceremonies on Dec. 12 and 13, with families, loved ones and supporters cheering as graduates crossed the stage.
University photographers and videographers Craig Bell, Haven Conn '22 and Ben Boutwell '24, along with students Brandon Grubbs, Nick Polace, Calen Gray and Noah Walter, captured the momentous 314th BGSU Commencement and the excitement of the new generation of BGSU alumni.

The weekend’s events began with the President’s Award Ceremony, honoring undergraduate students who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. President Rodney K. Rogers presented recipients with a medallion and an orange graduation cap.
The first of two Commencement ceremonies honored the more than 240 graduates receiving master’s and doctoral degrees.
The Stroh Center was packed with families and supporters as more than 950 undergraduate students received their diplomas on Saturday.
