BGSU Online MBA ranked No. 1 in Ohio, among the nation’s best for third straight year

Poets&Quants recognizes Bowling Green’s program for excellence and career outcomes

The Bowling Green State University Online MBA program continues to stand out as one of the nation’s best, ranking No. 1 in Ohio among public universities for the third straight year from Poets&Quants.

In the publication’s 2026 rankings, BGSU climbed 13 spots to No. 23 nationally among all universities.

The program also ranked the No. 1 university in Ohio for career outcomes, with graduates reporting an average salary increase of 24% and 80% earning promotions after completing their MBA, underscoring the University’s commitment to delivering exceptional value and real-world impact.

“This continued recognition from Poets&Quants reflects our commitment to academic excellence, student experience and strong career outcomes,” said Jennifer Percival, Ph.D., dean of the Schmidthorst College of Business. “Most importantly, it confirms that our graduates are seeing meaningful, immediate returns on their investment as they advance in their careers.”

The BGSU Online MBA program is housed in the nationally recognized Schmidthorst College of Business, which is among only 6% of business schools nationwide with AACSB accreditation – the highest level of accreditation.
