This year’s event marks the largest registration in the tradition’s history

Bowling Green State University welcomed a record crowd for Falcon Family Weekend, with more than 11,000 people representing over 3,000 BGSU families – registered to attend the weekend’s festivities.

The annual tradition, held midway through the fall semester from Oct. 17-19, brought parents, family members and supporters to campus for a weekend of events and connections, including numerous home athletics events, along with ice skating, a magician, a movie screening and more.

The record attendance at Falcon Family Weekend reflects the continued momentum at Bowling Green, which this year has also included record first-year enrollment, record attendance at home football games and ranking in the top five in the nation and No. 3 among all public universities for its student-recommendation score.

University photographers Craig Bell, Justin Camuso-Stall '14, Haven Conn '22 and Benjamin Boutwell '24, along with student photographers Keira Ellenberger and Brandon Grubbs, captured the fun and cherished memories.
