Week-long celebration brings students together for fun

By: Pete Fairbairn

The Bowen-Thompson Quadrangle has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland filled with a variety of popular activities in celebration of the start of spring semester. The Jan. 10-14 celebration allowed students to reconnect with friends and meet new people each day between 2:30 and 7:00 p.m. while enjoying an outdoor iceless rink, giant snow globe, train rides, skiing and snowboarding virtual reality, a winter photo booth and horse-drawn carriage rides. T-shirt printing and a stuff-a-plush workshop were also featured. Heated tents and free hot chocolate proved timely during an early-January cold snap.

Photos highlight the event in its second year.
