Holley joined the BGSU faculty in 2018 after 6 years of teaching as an adjunct.  Being a native of Bowling Green and having earned his BS in Business Administration (2005) and MBA (2007) from BGSU, he bleeds orange.  He has taught a range of courses in Entrepreneurship, Business Communication, Applied Business Experience, Overview of Business Administration, and Business Ethics in addition to guiding a group of the College of Business Student Ambassadors and Peer Leaders.  A faculty-initiate of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, Holley is now organization’s Faculty Advisor.  Having earned the Teaching and Learning Certificate and the Active Learning Classroom Certification from the Center for Faculty Excellence, he is passionate about student motivation and success.  Holley delivers real-world application to the classroom from his experience as an industry and community leader. 

He has been the Deputy Registrar of the Bowling Green License Bureau since 2019.  As a small business owner, Holley has experience in all facets of business and believes strongly that experience is the best teacher.

Prior to owning his own business, he served 11 years as Operations Manager of a local property management company.  Holley added this responsibility to his role of Director of Human Resources and Assistant Property Manager.  

Believing that networking, advocacy, and community relations are essential, Holley has been involved in the City of Bowling Green and industry.  He served on the City of Bowling Green Planning Commission for 10 years (3 years as Chairman) and represented the Commission on the Community Reinvestment Council with Bowling Green Economic Development.  He has also served on the Bowling Green Housing Agency’s Board of Trustees, was President of the Wood County Apartment Association, and served on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Apartment Association.  Holley serves the community through participation on the Governmental Affairs Team of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce.  He has also been on the Board of the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club and the Bowling Green Area Community Band (serving 2 years as President).
