Jennifer Baumeier
Jennifer Baumeier is an assistant teaching professor of marketing at Bowling Green State University, where she teaches undergraduate courses in business communication, leadership and career development. A proud BGSU alumna, she earned a Master of Business Administration from BGSU and holds a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from Miami University.
With more than 15 years of experience in the health care industry—including roles in sales, marketing, clinical training and business development—Baumeier brings real-world insight to the classroom. Her professional expertise centers on the medical device and life sciences sectors, where she continues to serve as a recruiter and career coach, helping organizations scale and professionals navigate meaningful career transitions.
Baumeier’s teaching philosophy is rooted in connection, clarity and confidence. She is passionate about preparing students to communicate effectively, think critically and lead with purpose in today’s evolving workplace.
Born and raised in Ohio, Baumeier lives in the Toledo area with her husband, their two children and their dogs, Winston and Roman. Outside of work, she embraces the energy, chaos and wonder of raising a young family. She values making time for what matters most and appreciates the opportunity to grow alongside her children and loved ones. She also enjoys pop culture, community involvement and advocating for purpose-driven careers.
