How to Apply
The LDT program (formerly ATE) is intended for any individual with a technical or applied associate degree who wishes to enhance his or her education, employment or promotional opportunities. This program teaches students how to integrate technology into their existing work environment and provides graduates with skills that can be applied in virtually any industry.
Typically students have an associate's degree and realize the importance of having a Bachelor's degree in order to advance their careers. Our fully-online program makes the degree convenient and appropriate for candidates of any age or career position, from entry-level to those seeking career advancement or change.

Admission to the program is a two-part process. Students must first seek admission to BGSU followed by acceptance to the College of Technology's Learning Design and Technology program. Admission to the University does not guarantee admission to the program.
Step 1: Applicants are admitted to the university.
Requirements for transfer student admission can be found at Admissions and Transfer Policies
Step 2: Applicants are reviewed for acceptance into the LDT program.
To be full accepted into the program, applicants must have an applied or technical associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Those that do not have appropriate associate degrees are considered pre-majors until the associate degree is obtained.
