HypAr(t)chitexture
Gerard Nadeau, Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design within the School of the Built Environment, led the participation of a group of Architecture and Construction Management students in ArtsX on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
The installation is called HypAr(t)chitexture, and the structure is a saddle-shaped, discontinuous lattice shell structure woven without adhesives or fasteners from wood slats. The group constructed the installation in the Wolfe Center scene shop on Saturday, December 3, and moved it to Ribeau Plaza on Tuesday, December 8.
