WikiSpaces Decommissioning

On Friday, May 25, 2018, BGSU Wikispaces (located at http://www.bgsu.wikispaces.net/) will be decommissioned and no longer offered as a service to our users. The shutdown is a business decision made by Wikispaces, and not by the University. More information on the reasoning behind the shutdown is available at http://blog.wikispaces.com/. Any wikis or information you wish to retain must be exported from the site prior to the May 25, 2018 deadline.

To export your wikis from the system, please follow the steps below:

• Navigate to the relevant Wiki
• Click on ‘Settings’
• Click ‘Exports/Backups’
• Select the format you wish to download the file in under ‘Content type’
• Then select the ‘File Type’ relevant for your computer
• Click ‘Export'

Alternative solutions to BGSU Wikispaces include:

• SharePoint – Available to all Faculty Staff
• OrgSync – Available to student organizations
• Blogs/WordPress – blogs.bgsu.edu – Available to anyone with a BGSU account
• Canvas - Course Content
