Project Governance

IT project governance provides structured direction and oversight for Bowling Green State University’s IT portfolio, ensuring technology initiatives align with the University’s strategic objectives, guiding principles, and institutional priorities. Governance supports informed decision-making by balancing strategic impact, risk, and resource capacity across academic and administrative areas.

Through a coordinated, monthly governance process, projects are reviewed and prioritized to advance the BGSU mission while ensuring effective use of institutional resources in support of our students, staff, and faculty.
